Donald Trump blurted out lewd and sexually charged comments about women in 2005. Trump issued a rare apology Friday, “if anyone was offended.”
Trump bragged about kissing, groping and trying to have sex with women who were not his wife on recordings obtained by The Washington Post and NBC News. Trump boasted “when you’re a star, they let you do it,” in a conversation with Billy Bush, then a host of the television show “Access Hollywood.”
The remarks were captured by a live microphone that Trump did not appear to know was recording their conversation.
Trump said: “This was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course — not even close. I apologize if anyone was offended.”

Hollywood addressed former anchor Billy Bush's involvement in Donald Trump's
latest campaign scandal during Friday night's show, after hot microphone audio
of Trump and Bush making lewd comments about women in 2005 was leaked online by
the Washington Post.
"There
were seven other people on the bus with Mr. Trump and Billy Bush at the
time," host Natalie Morales said of the incident, noting that camera crew,
Trump's security guard and his publicist were all present. Morales revealed
that Nancy O'Dell, currently Entertainment
Tonight co-host, was the woman identified on the tape as
"Nancy" that Trump had been captured speaking crassly about.
